original liner notes:

"Fraxinus" is the latin name for the ash tree. The cover photo was taken at St. Vital Park: the outdoor temperature was -28C. This tape was recorded in less than two afternoons, and aside from the addition of a few overdubs, it's almost completely live, representing Cindy and Lee's sound on stage. The burp was edited out with some difficulty. Cindy hopes those who inspired her enjoy having songs dedicated to them; only track #2 is meant to insult anyone.
Thanks and we hope you like this Winnipeg-flavoured concoction!
